Rev. Levi Jones

Rev. Dr. Levi Jones, 88, a native and resident of Ewellville, La., died on Sunday, June 26, 2016.

Rev. Jones was the pastor of Morning Star Baptist Church in Raceland, La., and Beulah Baptist Church in Bertrandville, La.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Jones; sons, Levi, Jeremiah and Joel Jones, Patrick, Errol and Mark Johnson; daughters, Barbara Mickens, Shirley Jones, Elaine Daigle, Connie Daggs and Daffinee Landry; brothers, Rev. Ernest and Israel Jones; and sisters, Mildred Irvin, Alberdia Jones and Christina Green.

Burial is at Virginia Baptist Church Cemetery in Belle Rose.
