Rickie Joseph Blanchard, 59, a native of Chauvin, La., and resident of Midland, Texas, died Monday, April 13, 2015.
Mr. Blanchard was a commercial fisherman. He spent his spare time hunting, fishing, and hanging with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Jan Blanchard; mother, Rosalie Lapeyrouse; daughter, Jessica (Raymond) Vincent Bourg; brothers, Elgin (Bonnie) and Michael (Michelle) Blanchard; sisters, Melinda (Patrick) Duplantis and Alicia (Sam) Pellegrin; and three grandchildren.
Burial will be in St. Ann Catholic Church Cemetery in Bourg. (Samart Funeral Home)
