Rita Dufrene Rodriguez, 87, a native of Gheens, La., and resident of Lockport, La., died on Thursday, August 4, 2016.
Ms. Rodriguez was a member of the Gheens Ladies Auxiliary.
She is survived by her sons, Gregory (Mary), Kern (Phyllis), Audie (Deborah), Cornel and Mark (Charlene) Rodriguez; daughter, Tonya (Terry) Dies; sister, Jean Chiasson; 13 grandchildren; and 32 great-grandchildren.
Burial is at Holy Savior Cemetery in Lockport, La., (Falgout)
