Miles touts 2015 recruiting efforts a success

Rodney Cyril Robert, 73, a native of New Orleans, Louisiana, and resident of Houma, Louisiana, died Sunday, Feb. 1, 2015.
Mr. Robert was a graduate of Covington High School’s Class of 1959. He attained the rank of staff sergeant as a military police officer in the U.S. Air Force, and worked at Halliburton before graduating in 1978 from the Realtors Institute of Louisiana. After working in sales for LaRussa Giglio and Four Star Real Estate, he started his own real estate appraisal service, where he worked for more than 30 years before retiring in 2011.
Mr. Robert was a charter member of the Krewes of Hercules and Selucrey, and a member of the parish’s Bassmaster and Sportsman’s League.
He is survived by his companion, Cindy Dolan Parfait; daughters, Patricia (Craig) Moore and Natalie (Keith Jr.) Tassin; sons, Rodney and Stephen (Kristi); sisters, Sherry (Edgar) Bailey and Margaret (Joe) Stein; sister-in-law, Florence Robert; and five grandchildren.
Burial is at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.
