Rodney Pierre Simon, 86, a native of Rayne and resident of Houma, La., died on Monday, Aug. 3, 2015.
Mr. Simon served 4 years in US Army as a Corporal. He worked as a machinist for 30 years. He enjoyed bar-becuing, fishing, dancing, playing cards and watching tennis and game shows.
Mr. Simon is survived by his son, David (Lisa) Simon; daughter, Paula (Jeff) Simon Giles; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Burial is at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2. (Chauvin Funeral Home)
