Roger Joseph Guillot, 83, a native of Thibodaux, Louisiana, died Monday, Jan. 12, 2015, after a lengthy illness.


Mr. Guillot served in the National Guard. He retired from Thibodaux Hospital after several years’ service. Mr. Guillot enjoyed tending to his yard and traveling. He was a past member ot the VCH fire company, as well as a member of the Krewe of Christopher. He served as the krewe’s king in 1998.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley Bourgeois Guillot; daughters, Denise (Jeff) Knight; Lisa (Steve) Richard; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Burial is at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral Catholic Church Cemetery.
