Roland A. Kern Sr., 87, a native of Lockport, La., and resident of Houma, La., died on Thursday, March 17, 2016.
A veteran of the U.S. Army, and oilfield roughnecker, Mr. Kern was at home in a well-worn pair of coveralls. If he gave you his word, you could take it to the bank. Burial is at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.
