Ronald Joseph Dupre Sr., 68, a native of Houma, La., and resident of Schriever, La., died at 12:12 a.m. on Monday, May 30, 2016.

A recreational pilot and avid deep sea fisherman, Mr. Dupre loved the Saints and LSU and enjoyed golfing, bicycling and gardening. He was an expert in drilling fluids engineering. He worked at Chevron Covington, Deep Water Houston and Century Exploration.

He is survived by his wife of 13 years, Dianne Brock Dupre; son, Ronnie Dupre Jr.; daughters, Audra (John) Zeman, Laurie (Brandon) Attaway and Virginia (Drake) Eschete; brother, Willie (Jan) Dupre; and five grandchildren.


Burial is at St. Bridget Catholic Church Cemetery. (Chauvin)
