South Terrebonne High to honor victim of crash during football season

Roy Joseph Bourgeois, 73, a native of Thibodaux, La., and resident of Raceland, La., died on Thursday, August 11, 2016.
Mr. Bourgeois was a parishioner of St. Charles Borromeo Church and was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council No. 12060. He was a simple man that did simple acts to bring love and smiles to those he met.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Carolyn Mire Bourgeois; daughters, Angie (Brian) Chiasson and Denise (Jamey) Bourgeois; sister, Shirley Bourgeois Chiasson; four grandsons; and one great-grandson.
Burial is at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church Cemetery in Thibodaux.
