Ruth Richardel

Ruth Melancon Richardel, 87, a native and resident of Larose, La., died Saturday, April 11, 2015.

Mrs. Richardel is survived by her daughters, Paula (Wayne) Pierce, Mary (Ronnie) Thibodeaux, Martha (Chris) Bourg; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and sister, Bobbie Melancon.

Visitation is 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church at Larose. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.

Donations to H.L. Haydel Memorial Hospice or Holy Rosary Catholic School in Larose, La., in his memory are appreciated.
