Local social workers celebrated for service

Sarah Grice, 54, a native of Monroe, La., and resident of Houma, La., died at 12:10 a.m. on Sunday, March 5, 2017.
Ms. Grice was a postal clerk at Rouse’s for 11 years. She loved taking care of hummingbirds, making candy and the New Orleans Saints.
She is survived by her daughters, Brandi (Christopher) Chaney and Taylor LeCompte; brothers, Harley (Shelba) and Charlie (Celeste) Grice; sisters, Debra (Norman) Pinel, Karen Grice, Wanda (Kenny) Percle and Susan (Kurt) Boudreaux; and one grandson.
Burial is in Oak Grove, La.
