Sarah Dartez McGee, 77, a native of Port Arthur, Texas, and resident of Houma, La., died on Monday, August 28, 2017.
Mrs. McGee was a member of Grand Caillou Baptist Church. She was a kind soul who loved cooking and enjoying Christmas with her family.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Kenneth Byrd McGee Sr.; son, Kenneth (Becky) McGee Jr.; daughter, Kathy (Edward) Herring; sister, Annie (James) Periou; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Burial is at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Houma. (Chauvin)
