Shirley Romano Guidroz, 89, a native and resident of Houma, La., died at 9:28pm on
Mrs. Guidroz was a parishioner of St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church. She was a member of the St. Francis Cathedral Choir, the Les Amis Choir and the Catholic Daughters of America, and she was also a third grade teacher at the St. Francis School for 25 years.
She is survived by her son, Dane (Meryl) Romano; stepsons, Chris, Mike (Daisy), Jerry (Dale), Steve (Susan), Mark (Fran), Paul (Renee’) and Tom (Dana) Guidroz; step-daughter, Mary (CJ) Gast; and two grandchildren and 17 step-grandchildren.
Burial is at St. Francis de Sales No. 2 Cemetery in Houma.
