Sophie Mae Mongrue Braud, 91, a resident of Luling, died Tuesday, February 9, 2016, Mrs. Braud is survived by sons, Thomas (Cindy) Braud, Blane Braud, Brian (Rhonda) Braud, Gerard (Cindy) Braud; daughter, Hettie Braud Averite (Bob); two brothers, Kearney Mongrue and Leo Mongrue; 11 grandchildren, two great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Mass at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Luling, with interment to follow in St. Charles Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Thomas W. Braud Medical Fund are preferred.
