Steven James Belanger, 50, a native and resident of Houma, La., died on Saturday, July 22, 2017.


Mr. Belanger served in the United States Marine Corps as a Corporal, E-4. He worked at Shell Pipeline Company for over 28 years. He loved adventuring, fishing, skiing, skydiving, water sports and motocross.

He is survived by his wife, Shana Scott Belanger; sons, Christopher and Joshua Belanger; step-son, Chase Peltier; step-daughter, Amber Peltier; mother, Elsie (Claude) Prosperie; step-mother, Rita Breaux; sister, Angela (Terry) Porche; and step-sister, Doresia (Thomas) Talley.

Burial is at a later date.
