Nicholls education student aces national contest

Ted J. “Fuzz” Melancon, 68, a native of Valentine, La., and resident of Larose, La., died on Thursday, May 3, 2017.
Mr. Melancon is survived by his wife, Diana Gaudet Melancon; son, Chad (Tzena) Melancon; brothers, Donald (Emily), Linton and Larry (Jean) Melancon; sister, Deborah Melancon; and one grandchild and two step-grandchildren.
Burial is at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church Cemetery in Larose.
