The Mary Bird Perkins TGMC Cancer Center has a new member to its already-successful team.

The hospital announced in a news release last week that Tiffany Tuberville Adams will be the Cancer Center’s new Development Coordinator. In her role, Adams will be responsible for the implementation and growth of the philanthropic development program to raise awareness and support for the Cancer Center and local cancer patients.


“We are thrilled to welcome Tiffany to our team,” said Phyllis Peoples, the President and CEO of TGMC. “Her vast fundraising experience combined with her strong communication and leadership skills make her a valued asset. With her support, we will be able to serve more cancer patients in our area.”

Adams fits the job nicely.

She has been an experienced, successful fund raiser for several years. Since 2012, she has led several fundraising initiatives at St. Matthew’s Episcopal School, while also serving on the school’s board.


Adams’ background is in teaching science and in the arts.

She also has served as a board member of The Foundation for TGMC and has chaired the organization’s newest fundraiser, Derby on the Bayou.
