Thilda “Tillie” Ann Maiorana, 87, a native of Lutcher, Louisiana and resident of Houma passed away Saturday February 2, 2019 at 4:30 p.m.
Miss Tillie is survived by her sons: Jay, Jerry and wife Pam, and Sal and wife Kristi Maiorana; sisters Janis and Catherine LeBlanc; grandchildren: Brittany, Dominic, and Alaina Maiorana.
She was a substitute teacher in the Jefferson Parish School system and at St. Bernadette School in Houma where she was affectionately known as Miss Tillie. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, cooking and being with family and friends.
The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thanks to her three special sitters and Journey Hospice, especially Amie and Cindy, for their loving care and compassion shown Miss Tillie.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Alzheimer’s Association or American Cancer Societyis preferred.
