January 27, 2016The Terrebonne Parish Tree Board’s annual Tree Giveaway is set for Saturday, Jan. 30.
Apache Corp. is donating 200 native species container trees and more than 800 native species seedlings to the cause. Terrebonne residents are limited to two trees in 3-to 5-gallon containers per household. All trees are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Locals may have an unlimited number of seedlings as supplies last.
Distribution is from 9 to 11:30 a.m. at the Terrebonne Library Main Branch.
