Troy J. Guidry, 59, a native of Galiano, La., and resident of Cut Off, La., died Sunday, Oct. 18, 2015.
Mr. Guidry was a tugboat captain who loved his job. He was also an artist, and he enjoyed painting and carving ducks.
Mr. Guidry is survived by his wife of 40 years, Rose Anna Guidry; sons, Christopher (Kelly), Aaron (Jenny) and Paul (Sylvia) Guidry; daughters, Amy (Boomer) Brady, Emily (Ryan Fournier) Guidry and Sarah (Andrew Domangue) Guidry; sister, Peggy Sue Guidry; 13 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; mother-in-law, Loula Mae Fonseca; canine companions, Buddy, Bosco and Jessie; one niece; and numerous nephews.
Burial is at Cheramie Cemetery.
