Valentine Mott Jr., 75, a native of Lake Charles, La., and resident of Bourg, La., died on Thursday, March 24, 2016.
Mr. Mott is survived by his wife, Teresa Potasnik Mott; sons, Reggie (Sandy), Troy (Milissia) and Jerrett Mott; stepson, Rick Matherne; daughters, Telisa (Phil) Crabtree and Samantha (Jason) Chaisson; stepdaughter, Tamara (Apollo) Scott and Michaela Matherne; brothers, Stanford, Raymond, Dallas and Randall Mott; sisters, Wilma Cormier, Wilda Frederick and Marjorie Alford; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Burial is at Rogers Cemetery.
