The Houma Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect who authorities believe is responsible for vandalizing the Friends of Fireman’s Park in Houma, the area’s only public skate park.

Authorities said the vandalism occurred on August 7 after sunset.

The damages were so bad that the park had to close for a few days for repairs.

Video surveillance captured a suspect of interest on the night of the vandalism wearing a dark-colored striped shirt and a baseball cap.

She was later identified as Jenna Adams, 22, of Houma.

In the video, Adams appears to be holding a can of spray paint.

She allegedly spray-painted obscenities on the walls of the park. A meter pan at the facility was also broken, though authorities do not know if the incidents are related.

Anyone with information about Adams’ whereabouts are asked to contact the Houma Police Department at (985) 873-6371.

If anyone other suspicious activity is noticed at the park, the public is asked to also contact HPD or the Bayou Region Crime Stoppers at 1-800-743-7433.

Tipsters can remain anonymous, and information which leads to an arrest could make one eligible for a $1,000 cash reward.

The Houma skate park has since painted over the graffiti on its walls and has re-opened for skaters.

Authorities are looking for the suspect who spray painted the public skate park in Houma. Anyone with information is asked to call (985) 873-6371.
