Vella Mae “Teedy” Duplantis, 82, a native and resident of Houma, La., died Friday, July 24, 2015.
Mrs. Duplantis enjoyed attending mass and going to the casino. She was a faithful parishioner of St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church in Houma.
She is survived by her sons, Terry (Gayle) and Dwayne (Susan) Duplantis; daughters, Helen Siegrist, Lee Ann (Murphy) Breaux, Gerri (Timothy) Champagne, Donna (Craig) Bienvenu and Laura (Danny) Melancon; 18 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

Burial is at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.
