Verna Landry Bergeron, 94, a native of Houma, La., and resident of Baton Rouge, La., died on Friday, September 22, 2017.


Ms. Bergeron was a member of Bayou Blue United Methodist Church. She was a retired seamstress. She enjoyed dark roast coffee with loved ones, crossword puzzles and John Wayne westerns.

She is survived by her children, Diana Bergeron, Linda (Steve) Martin and Connie (Bob) Penix; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Burial is at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Gray.
