Virginia Cortez Duet, 73, a native of Marrero, La., and resident of Schriever, La., died on Wednesday, September 7, 2016.
Mrs. Duet is survived by her husband of 51 years, David Duet Sr.; daughter, Cindy (David) Rome; son, David (Kim) Duet Jr.; brothers, Charlie and Allen Cortez; sister, Debby McGee; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Burial is at St. Bridget Catholic Church Cemetery in Schriever.
