Troop C arrests suspects for 6th offense, 4th offence

Louisiana State Police Troop C made two DWI arrests on Wednesday night – both to suspects who been caught driving drunk multiple times in the past.


On Wednesday night, Louisiana State Police Troop C troopers were called to a two-vehicle crash just before 9:30 pm.

Denies Sneeze, 32, of Raceland, was operating a 2009 Nissan Altima on La. Highway 182 near Coteau Road. The accident caused minor injuries to the driver, who declined to be transported to a hospital.

Troopers at the scene noted that Sneeze showed signs of impairment at the crash scene and she was taken under arrest. She hart minor injuries in the crash and was taken to Chabert Medical Center by the arresting Trooper.


Sneeze submitted to a breath test, which showed no signs of alcohol present. She also submitted a blood sample and the toxicology report is pending through the Louisiana State Police Crime Lab. She was booked into the Terrebonne Parish Criminal Justice Center for DWI sixth-offense, driving under suspension for previous DWI’s and careless operation.

After Sneeze’s arrest, troopers were dispatched on Thursday morning to an area near La. Highway 56 near La. Highway 58 in Chauvin in reference to a driver asleep at the wheel.

The Trooper arrived on the scene and met the driver; John Allen, 28, of Houma.


Allen was operating a 1999 Chevy Cavalier when he fell asleep behind the wheel in the middle of the highway.

Allen was arrested and. charged with DWI fourth offense, open alcoholic container in MB vehicle and stopping vehicles in prohibited locations.

He was taken to the Terrebonne Parish Jail and his breath sample tested three times over the legal limit.


Both charges are felonies.

If convicted, each could face up to 30 years in prison, according to Troop C.

John Allen was charged with his fourth DWI last week.
