Cut Off man’s work ethic, dedication the foundation for his success

Vivian Cook Hebert, 89, a native of Kilbourne, La., and resident of Houma, La., died at 7:41 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 20, 2015.

Visitation is Friday, Sept. 25, from 9 to 10:30 a.m., at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin afterward. Burial will be held at the church cemetery.


Mrs. Hebert was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral, and a registered nurse. She was a graduate of Hotel Dieu of New Orleans, La. She worked many years as a public health nurse for Terrebonne Parish.

She is survived by her sons, Michael (Linette), Barry (Danette) Hebert; brother, John (Peggy) Cook Jr.; sister, Mary (Tom) Fallis; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to a charity of choice in Mrs. Hebert’s memory.
