Wallace “T” Joseph Hebert Sr., 86, a native of Montegut, La., former resident of Bourg, La., and more recently Port Orchard, Wash., died at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, April 16, 2015.


Mr. Hebert was a parishioner of St. Ann Catholic Church. He was a tugboat captain and a self-employed commercial fisherman. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, cooking and dancing, especially to Cajun French music.

He is survived by his sons, Michael (Shirlene), Carol (Valerie) and Wallace Hebert Jr.; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Burial is at Bisland Cemetery.
