Walter John Eschete, age 98. passed away at Terrebonne General Medical Center on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 surrounded “by his loving family Walter us a native of Little Callou and a resident of Houma.
Walter Is survival by his loving wife of 68 years. Mary Fezzio Bachete; son, Carey Eschete and companion Susan Griffin: daughter, Dariene Eschete Hodgson and husband Nigel; grandchildren. Alicia Esthete Klingman and husband David. Jacob Esthete, Trisha Hodgson MeLancon and husband Christoper. Michelle Hodgson; great-grandchildren. Alexander and Caroline Klingman. Madelyn and Carson Melancon.
Walter was loving, kind, gentle, and hard-working. He spent a lifetime loving his family and enjoyed spending every minute with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren Most of all he stored and loved his wife. He WAS a great gardener end enjoyed giving vegetables to his family and friends. Walter was a master carpenter, he built many homes in Terrebonne Parish over the years. Walter proudly served our country In the U.S. Navy In World War II.
