Wanda Falgout, 85, a native of Baton Rouge, La., and resident of Houma, La., died Sunday, May 3, 2015.


A longtime member of Living Word Church, Mrs. Falgout loved to cook, bake – she was especially known for her cinnamon rolls, rock babies and travel. She enjoyed hosting and teaching Bible studies and working with the Juvenile Justice Center.

She is survived by her sons, William (Laura Laub) and James (Judy) Falgout; daughters: Jane (Gary) Estes, Betsy (Kent) Pierret, Lauren (Bruce) Chopin, Kathleen (Jan) Loupe and Robyn Moss; 17 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Burial is at the Presbyterian Cemetery in Gheens, La. Memorials in her memory may be made to Living Word Church Building Fund.
