Wickles Louis Dupre Jr., 81, a native of Bayou Blue and resident of Houma, La., died at 6:09 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 13, 2015.


Mr. Dupre was a parishioner of St. Lucy Catholic Church. He proudly served his country as a Private 1st Class in the U.S. Army. He retired from Texaco Oil and Gas after many years of service. He was a member of the Texaco Credit Union of Houma and a member of the American Legion at Post 31. “Wick” loved fishing and going to the camp.

Mr. Dupre is survived by his wife, Margaret Antill Dupre; sons, Kurt (Darlene) and Travis (Kingfa) Dupre; daughter, Tina (David) Meaux; sisters: Therese Marcel and Catherine Witherwax; 11 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Burial is at Bayou Black Cemetery.
