January 21, 2015Wilma Marie Dusenbery, 85, a native of Chauvin, Louisiana, and resident of Houma, Louisiana, died peacefully surrounded by family and loved ones Sunday, Jan. 11, 2015.
Mrs. Dusenbery is survived by her husband of 67 years, Eugene A. “Papa Gene” Dusenbery; daughters, Rose Marie (Carey) Naquin, Gene Ellen (Gerald) Sanders; Veronica (Ronnie Sr.) Trahan, Cindy (Danny) Fanguy, Margaret (Chet) Dufren; Monica (Dwayne) Pellegrin, Amelie (Ted) Thibodaux, Annette Dusenbery and Marie (Terry) Lirette; sons, Timmy (Karen) and Louis Dusenbery; daughter-in-law, Kathy Greve; sister, Imelda Pellegrin; brother, Melvin (Jeannie) Duplantis; 26 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
Donations to Good Samaritan Food Bank or Bunk House Homeless Shelter of Houma in her name are appreciated.
Burial is at St. Francis Cemetery No. 2.
