Spring is definitely in the air at Gary Gisclair’s Houma home. Gisclair sent the above picture, noting the dove nests annually atop a brick pillar near the entrance of his house. “When she first started nesting there, if I would come out of the house … she would fly away because she was startled,” he wrote. Ten years later, she continues to nest there, most recently birthing the two doves pictured. In the meantime, Ann St. Pierre of Houma sent a note informing us the wrens near her home, which were pictured last week, have left the nest. Do you have a photo you’d like to share with readers?
