September 16, 2015Lafourche assessor to host update on law changes to property taxes
Lafourche Parish Assessor Wendy Thibodeaux will be speaking to citizens throughout the parish about the recent Louisiana legislative session and information about how their property taxes are determined.
The next presentation will be today at 1:30 p.m. at the Juvenile Justice Facility, 2625 Veteran’s Blvd., in Thibodaux.
Thibodeaux will be presenting many more times through January in order to inform as many people as possible about their property taxes.

LSU great Hester set to attend Thursday night open house
Chateau Terrebonne Health Care announced that it will host an open house on Thursday night from 3:30 – 6:30 p.m. at 1386 West Tunnel Blvd. in Houma. The open house will feature food and live music, according to a release issued by Chateau Terrebonne.
Also in attendance will be LSU great and former NFL star Jacob Hester, who will be signing photos for fans.
LSU fans remember Hester for his amazing senior season in which he led the Tigers to the BCS National Championship. Since that time, he has also enjoyed a multi-year NFL career.
