February 11, 2015Area of La. 308 in Thibodaux to experience delays today
Both lanes of traffic on La. Highway 308 between Bushgrove Road and Prissy Lane in Thibodaux will experience delays from 1 to 4:30 p.m. today.
Motorists should expect intermittent traffic disruptions lasting up to five minutes at a time.
The delays will be used to filming in the area.
Laf. Animal Shelter now open 8 a.m. to noon on Saturdays
The Lafourche Parish Animal Shelter is now open from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturdays for adoptions as well as spay and neuter signups.
Animal Shelter officials are hopeful the new hours will become permanent as long as there are enough volunteers.

TPSD to hold job fair for prospective teachers
In the search for highly qualified, certified and innovative teachers, the Terrebonne Parish School District will hold a job fair Saturday, May 2.
It will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will be held at H.L. Bourgeois High School.
