August 16, 2016Weekend concert will raise money for law enforcement
A concert will take place this weekend with all proceeds going to assist local law enforcement.
The Emeralds will perform at the Houma Municipal Auditorium on Saturday and the monies raised at the concert will be donated back to the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office and the Houma Police Department to assist in their expenses throughout the year. Cost to attend the concert will be $15, and tickets can be purchased at the door.
The concert will take place from 7-11 p.m.
Murphy to discuss issues at State of the University address
Nicholls State University President Dr. Bruce Murphy will hold a State of the University address today at 8:30 a.m. at the Nicholls student union.
The address will discuss budget issues and other goals of the university.
