The Nicholls softball team stayed on a roll this week, sweeping a three-game set with Texas A&M-Corpus Christi. The Colonels are now 19-12 overall and 6-2 in Southland games under fifth-year coach Angel Santiago.

Lafourche voters will choose the District 5 parish councilman, a new port commissioner and a millage renewal for Special Education District No. 1 on Saturday, April 9.
Early voting is currently open from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. through Saturday, April 2.
