Thibodaux High School athlete Amik Robertson has decided where he wants to play his college football.
Robertson confirmed to The Times on Sunday night that he’s given a verbal commitment to Louisiana Tech – a school he said that he chose because of their proximity to home and also the family-like feel coaches gave him when visiting the campus.
Robertson is one of the top defensive backs in the state, according to recruiting analysts.
He had offers from a laundry list of programs around the country – a list that is continuing to grow as the season goes on.
“It’s a good feeling,” Robertson said.
Robertson is a 2-star recruit on Rivals.com, but that ranking is likely to go up before the season ends. He was regarded by many as the best athlete at the LSU Camp.
