The State Bond Commission approved $625,000 in excess revenue bonds for Lafourche’s Communications District for capital upgrades. Terrebonne’s Veterans’ Memorial District is issuing $3,350 million in limited tax and refunding bonds and approximately $1.9 million in revenue bonds for the military museum and veterans park.
THS Crimson Pride hosts $6K drawing
The Terrebonne High Crimson Pride Band Boosters host a $6,000 drawing Saturday at the Houma Municipal Auditorium.
The cost for grand prize tickets is $50, and admits two to the night’s fun, which includes music, drinks, dinner and dessert. A silent auction is also planned. Monies support the THS Band program.
