March 14, 2017Braves standout inks with Western Connecticut State University
H.L. Bourgeois standout quarterback/athlete Jude LeCompte has a new home.
The Braves senior announced on Monday that he had signed a National Letter of Intent with Western Connecticut State University, an NCAA Division III program in Danbury, Connecticut.
LeCompte earned his place at the next level after a solid senior season for the Braves.
The 5-foot, 10-inch, 175 pound prospect was a terror on defenses throughout the season, making plays with both his arms and legs.
Braves coach Carey Melvin said during the season that he was one of the most elusive players he’d ever seen at the prep level.
“He’s so good,” Melvin said. “He makes so many plays that others just can’t make.”
LeCompte will report to the school over the summer.
