Your ‘local first’ approach is truly appreciated

DEAR EDITOR

I am writing today because I wanted to salute your staff on a job well done.

I am 67. I have lived in the Houma-Thibodaux area my whole lift. I have lived in both parishes and have friends on every bayou in our area.

I have been reading the newspaper and studying local news, athletics and lifestyles for the better part of my entire life. I wanted to let your staff know that your hard work and dedication to the community is evident and it bleeds through onto your pages.

Your news is accurate and unbiased. I think you are fair to the elected officials locally, but are also critical when ifs time to be critical I think your sports coverage is on point and what puts it over the top is the photography! Photos are wonderful and I know that as I become busy and cannot get to games myself. I love to see people in action doing the things that they love to do.

Keep up the good work and know that it is much appreciated.
