telaGen, LLC, a leading birth tissue recovery organization is happy to announce a new business relationship with Ochsner St. Anne in Raceland, LA to bring a new birth tissue donation (BTD) program to their hospital. This program will give the opportunity for expectant mothers delivering at Ochsner St. Anne to donate their birth tissue in an effort to provide life saving wound grafts made from the birth tissue. This is telaGen’s first BTD program in the Houma-Bayou Cane-Thibodaux area and 7th in the state of Louisiana.

“This is an exciting opportunity for our company to partner with a great organization to promote the altruistic benefits of a birth tissue donation program at Ochsner St. Anne. We look forward to many years of mothers being a part of the tissue circle of life.” said David Hill, telaGen CEO.

“I have always been a huge supporter of organ and tissue donation. Bringing this program into the community will allow our patients the opportunity to bring joy to another family through the gift of placenta donation” said Jamie Grayson, RN, Manager of Women’s Services at Ochsner St. Anne.

“It is a tremendous privilege to be involved in such an important program. Not only are we helping our patients expand their families but we are helping them with the great honor of being a tissue donor,” stated Natasha Goss MD, OB/GYN, at Ochsner St. Anne.
