Marguerite Giroir, 87, a native and resident of Gibson, La., died at 10:09 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2011.
Mrs. Giroir was a parishioner of St. Anthony Catholic Church.
She is survived by her sons, Roy Jr. and Merriel (Maria) Giroir; daughters, Jean and Susan Giroir and Irma (Bud) Caro; five grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and four step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Giroir; parents, John and Eunice Dufren; brother, John Dufren Jr.; and sisters, Vesta and Ida Falgout, Irene Daigle, Jean Marie Dufren and Edith Porche.
Burial was at Bayou Black Cemetery. (Falgout)
