Hendrick J. Degruise, 94, a native of St. Charles and resident of Bayou Blue, Louisiana passed away on July 20, 2021 surrounded by his family
A graveside service will be held Saturday, August 21, 2021 at 11am at St. Louis Catholic Church in Bayou Blue, Louisiana.
He is survived by his five children, Judy Thibodeaux (Edward), Stan Degruise (Cathy), Catherine Adams (Lonnie), Rosemary Degruise, Barbara Tregre (Terry); eleven grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and threee step great-grandchildren; brothers, Hilton, Linsley, Fulton; and sister, Dorothy Bouqet.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Theresa Landry Degruise; parents, Auralien and Marie Degruise; sisters, Thelma Thibodeaux, Elsia Tregre, Maryann Bourg; and brothers, Paul and Milfred Degruise.
Samart Funeral Home of Houma, Bayou Blue LLC is in charge of arrangements.
