LPSO detectives are investigating a shooting that occurred shortly after noon on Friday, April 26, 2024, in the area of Ayo Street in Raceland. The shooting involved two vehicles. No injuries were reported. Shortly after the incident, several schools in the Raceland area were placed on lockdown for a short time out of an abundance of caution.

Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre announced one man has been arrested in an ongoing investigation into a Raceland shooting incident. Joshua Ingram Jr., 22, of Raceland has been charged with principal to attempted murder.

HPD responded to a report of a shooting on Columbus Street on April 22. The investigation revealed that the shooting occurred in the 500 block of Eliza Street where the 17 year old victim was confronted by multiple suspects, identified as Christian Antoine, 19 years old, and Kendrick Woods, 19 years old. As the victim was running away, the suspects started shooting at him at which time he was struck by the gunfire.

Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre announced the arrest of a Golden Meadow man who allegedly strangled and threatened a woman and her family. Ethan Mobley, 23, was arrested on Tuesday.

Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre announced one man has been arrested in connection to a Sunday night shooting incident in Raceland. Damien Parker Jr., 24, of Raceland faces multiple charges including weapons and drug charges.

Anyone with information on either of these incidents is asked to submit a tip anonymously to Bayou Region Crime Stoppers.

The shootings occurred in Raceland and Thibodaux, with the Thibodaux incident resulting in four injuries. There is no evidence that the shooting incidents were related.

Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre announced deputies are investigating two separate shooting incidents that occurred Thursday night in Lafourche Parish.

Thibodaux Chief of Police Bryan Zeringue announced that two separate arrests were made connected to the April 6, 2024, shooting investigation, which also led to multiple other gun, drug and warrant related arrests on additional subjects.

Arnold L. Hunt Jr., 87, of Houma, was arrested for charges of Attempted 2nd Degree Murder in connection with a disturbance complaint that occurred at a residence in the 100 block of Mona Kay Drive. Authorities determined that Hunt fired at least four shots inside the home, some of which were fired through a bathroom door where the victim was hiding.

Terrebonne Parish Sheriff Tim Soignet announced that Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office Violent Crimes Detectives have arrested a suspect in connection with a disturbance investigation, which left one male victim stabbed and hospitalized.  Tailor Anthony Fournier, 29, of Houma, was arrested for charges of Attempted 2nd Degree Murder, for his involvement in the incident. 

Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre announced detectives are searching for a man wanted in connection with a shooting incident in Galliano last month. Kevion Harrison, 21, of Gray is wanted for several charges including attempted murder. Harrison should be considered to be armed and dangerous. He is believed to possibly be in the Houma area.

Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre announced three men were arrested in connection with an incident in Chackbay on Sunday. Jaheim Stewart, 22, Tyrence Williams, 18, and Jarius Bannister, 18, all of Vacherie, all face charges stemming from the incident.

Terrebonne Parish Sheriff Tim Soignet is pleased to announce that the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office have arrested two suspects connected with a 2018 Missing Persons case, which was recently determined to have resulted in the murder of Larondell Esko. Human remains were discovered in a pond on Bayouside Drive.

Thibodaux Police Chief Bryan Zeringue announced detectives are currently investigating a shooting that took place in the 1000 block of S. Acadia Road. Thus far, a scene and property damage have been located, but no injuries related to the incident have been reported.
