Charles Joseph Bonvillain, 86, a native and resident of Houma, La., died Sunday, Sept. 22, 2013.
Mr. Bonvillain was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral and member of the Houma Knights of Columbus. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Amy Bonvillian; son, Stephen (Donna) Bonvillian; daughters, Janet Eschete, Faye (Donald) Bergeron and Judy (Stephen) Kelton; brother, Edward Bonvillian; sisters, Marie Houser, Margret Verret, Kate Theriot and Frances Colwart; eight grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Entombment is at Terrebonne Memorial Park. (Chauvin)
