Lafourche DA seeks death penalty in woman’s death

September 3, 2010Thompson Foret Jr., 62, a native of Thibodaux, La., and a resident of Raceland, La., died at 12:51 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2010.
Mr. Foret was a parishioner of St. Hilary Catholic Church. He was a U.S. military veteran, a Boy Scout leader and a member of the American Legion and VFW.
He is survived by his wife, Gail Griffin Foret; son, Matthew Foret; daughter, Nicole (Scott) Maronge; brothers, Robert, Richard, Ronald and Kenneth Foret; sisters, Sherry Boudreaux, Alice Peltier, Patricia Griffin and Margaret Foret; ant three grandchildren.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 4 at St. Hilary Catholic Church in Raceland with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Burial will be at Resurrection Memorial Park in Raceland.
