Artelise R. Lafont, 92, a native of Galliano, La., and resident of Kenner, La., died Thursday, May 22, 2014.
She is survived by her sons, Dennis (Lori) and Jody (Robin) Lafont; brothers, Paul and Don LeBoeuf; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Lafont Jr.; son, Russell Lafont; mother and stepfather; Artemise and Caliste LeBoeuf; father, Leneas Rousse; brother, Jack LeBoeuf; and sister, Janavee Pitre.
Visitation will be 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 28, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Larose, La., with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery in Galliano. (Falgout)
