June 13, 2011Emelda Junot Richard, 92, a native and resident of Labadieville, La., died Wednesday, June 1, 2011.
She is survived by her children, Janet (Robert Sr.) Richard and Larry (Rita) Richard; eight grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert Richard; parents, Seraphin and Luda Junot; son, Wayne Richard; daughter, Janice Richard; brother, Everett Junot; and one grandchild.
Burial was at St. Philomena Catholic Church Cemetery in Labadieville. (Landry’s)
