Lionheart Leslie

HEIGHT:

5’10”

Senior

GRADE:

SCHOOL:

Vandebilt graduate; now at Cal State-Fullerton

SPORTS PLAYED:

Lionheart is the starting point guard for the Titans basketball team, which competes in the Big West Conference. Those close to the team say that Lionheart’s toughness is one of the driving forces behind the team’s 7-5 start to conference play – one of the best runs in the past decade-plus for the Fullerton basketball program.

STRENGTHS:

Lionheart isn’t big in height, but he has remarkable upper body strength, which allows him to carry larger players into the basket during contact in games.

GOALS FOR THE SEASON:

“Make the conference tournament, then give a push to try and go win it. I think we have everything we need to be successful – both on and off the floor. Now, we just have to put it all together and go get it done.

OFF-COURT HOBBIES:

When not on the basketball floor, Lionheart loves to be a little brother. He has a lot of options. He is the youngest of eight children born to Raymond and Patricia Leslie, of Houma. Aside from that, Lionheart also enjoys working out, playing video games and hanging out with his friends and teammates.

CREDENTIALS:

One of our own is doing amazing things out in California. Houma native Lionheart Leslie is enjoying a very strong senior season for the Titans, one which has seen the team turn around its program and become a Big West contender. At press-time, Lionheart is one of the Titans leading scorers. Off the floor, he’s a locker room leader who brings energy to the team on the defensive side of the ball.
